That sucked.
Before Replay:
I should have won that game. I supply blocked myself early, wasted my money, didn't build my Gateways fast enough, all the normal "I'm terrible at Protoss" stuff that I usually do.
He did a tight Colossus ball which I knew was coming and I just wasn't ready for it fast enough. My money got high and I wasn't spending it properly. I don't know why Protoss is so hard for me to play?
After Replay:
Yep. I should have had such the advantage. I was ahead before he attacked, I was ahead after I defended and then he pulls *way* ahead while my money just climbs quietly and stupidly. Enough said.

I don't like it when they don't talk..
At the start of every game I throw out a good luck. Just seems polite. Usually I'll get a gl hf or something in response. But sometimes I get nothing, no response at all.
It bothers me less when I roll the guy.
TvP. We scouted each other in the first 6-7 minutes. I scanned and saw he'd expanded without much in the way of units, so I pushed the front a bit while I threw down my own expansion. I didn't pull out as soon as I should have, but I think I still came out a little ahead.
Then I did a drop, two full Medivacs on his main's Probe line. His observer was sitting right where my Medivacs loaded and took off, but he must have not been watching his mini map because, watching the replay, he had no idea.
That was pretty much the end. He was sitting on 3k minerals, but not spending them, and I finished him off.

PvP =(
Random / Random. Turned out it was PvP and I scouted the wrong direction. He immediately took his second, walled it off with 4 warpgates and just expanded more aggressively.
I have a hard time justifying agressive expansion because I can keep my money low as Protoss so easily by just building from what I have. I don't often recognize when it's time to build another base easily.
Also I'm terrible about not getting supply blocked as Protoss. Played a few games against the computer yesterday as Protoss, constantly supply blocked all game long. This one was no different.

If you're not attacking, you're losing
I stayed in my base for the first 10 minutes. I scouted to figure out where he was and then I just sat, mining and teching and building Gateway units.
He, apparently, said "Fantastic, I'm just going to build a crapton of siege tanks".
The best part is, I identified this before moving my army into it. But I went ahead and did anyway. Somehow I thought maybe I could overrun them with Chargelots. Which, of course, wasn't the case.
What should I have done? Attached earlier. As soon as I had a Zealot, then a few stalkers, just kept the pressure up.
Or, baring that, at least changed tech directions. Done something different once I saw what he had. He was all robo...just tanks and Thors.
Well, live and learn. And lose, apparently.

Something else I'm working on..
...is numbing myself to playing a lot of SC2 games. Coming back to play it feels exhausting to play one game, much less two or three. So I figure the more I play the easier it'll be to play.
Another PvP win. And I never even left my base. He made 19 Probes in 15 minutes. I made 52.
He opened double Gateway and just started chronoboosting out Zealots. I finished my Warp Gate Tech at 5:40. I had a 21 Probes, 1 Zealot, 2 Stalkers and 1 of each on the way. He had 17 Probes, 8 Zealots and we both had 2 Gateways.
When he supply blocked himself a minute later at 11 Zealots, he rolled out. I was throwing up my expand at the time. I quickly cancelled because I was sure I wouldn't hold that low ground and retreated to the bottle neck entrance of my base. For the next 90 seconds while I destroyed his Zealots he stopped all production.
He threw a few more small waves of Zealots at me. Then he started doing a few Void Rays at the back of my base while putting Zealots at the front of my expansion. After a couple of tries and fails, he quit.

More Macro = More Agression
Okay, new day - same play. Lots of macro, lots of agression. Here goes...
And it worked, another victory. Though to defend my opponent, he was even more rusty than I it seems. Another player just coming back after a long break from the game.
Antiga Shipyard...he did a 14 expand into Roaches. His income was quite a bit higher than mine early on, but he just wasn't spending as well. I did good damage to him on my first push at his base, so I kept the pressure up. Never really pushing in hard, just sitting on his edge and picking off targets until he had a big loss, then I rolled in and it was over.
Well, then I rolled in and 5 minutes later it was over, as he was playing the game where he continues to expand everywhere to avoid death so I just patiently looked for him while building more Orbital Commands all over the map.

Starcraft? How do I play Starcraft again?
I haven't played in a while. Been playing some other things, League of Legends mostly but also been just busy with life.
So of course I figured I'd just jump right in, instead of spending any time warming up or anything crazy like that. Season 3 here I come!
I got rocked. No surprise.
TvT on Antiga Shipyard, my first time playing on that map. I couldn't remember how to build anything. TvT used to be something I was good at, I couldn't get my Barracks up, build my SCVs on time, remember my hotkeys, anything.
It's going to take a awhile to get back to how to play again =)
Oh and it looks like SC2Replayed uploads are broken again, so I'll be manually uploading for a while longer.
