Well I got First Blooded at level 2 by Mordekaiser. So that's a terrible start...
And it all went downhill from there. I had to Mute Zyra for being a terrible person. I lost my lane hard to Mordekaiser. I don't feel like I fed, I had some good ganks and some decent ganks from Rek'Sai and one decent gank from Zyra, but for the most part I learned how to deal with him, keep my distance, close when his CDs were up, keep his shield stripped, etc. But still...didn't go well.
Anyway, we lost. Every aspect of the game...Mid and Bot went first, then eventually top. They took the Dragons and Baron and just burned us down.

Home sick...
But I can't sleep. So let's play some LoL...
Our Team:
Jarvan IV Top, Zyra Mid, Warwick Jungle, Vayne ADC, Amumu Support
Their Team:
Lucian ADC, Shaco Jungle, Morgana Support, Gnar Top, Yasuo Mid
Game went well. Bot lane started slow, they got first blood but then gave away a bunch of kills as Shaco camped them hard. I did okay against Gnar, my first time really laneing against him, but I eventually figured it out. WW came up to help me out a few times.
At the end we struggled to work together, everyone was off taking their own objectives and making bad decisions. But we did eventually get there and pull it together for a win.

Jungle Tank
Our Team:
Blitzcrank Support, Teemo Top, Corki ADC, Ahri Mid, Jarvan IV Jungle
Their Team:
Riven Top, Sivir ADC, Evelynn Jungle, Heimerdinger Mid, Sona Support
So we started out bad and it just got worse as the game went on.
Ahri gave up a bunch of kills early to Hiemerdinger, she was apparently expecting a much easier lane than she got.
Bot and Top lanes were pushed hard so I couldn't get in for a gank. Teemo kept getting ganked and bot was picking up kills, so I went mid and farmed my jungle.
Eve farms jungle a lot faster than JIV apparently, because she was 6 before I was 5. And she was cleaning house whereas my ganks on Heimer weren't going well, even cost Ahri her life a few times, though she over committed imo.
Anyway...we kept loosing almost every engagement and every dragon. But we finally won one and pushed down an inhib. Split pushing Teemo pushed down another. We finally got a dragon, then lost all the fights again....
At the end of the day they did a 5 man push on mid. We did a 4 man defend and lost, but took a few with us. Meanwhile Teemo pushed down top and took the inhib since winions had already destroyed the turrets. Win.

Hooray pre game chat!
At least from a few people. Someone who picked a somewhat lane ambiguous choice (Annie, so mid or support) declared the lane they were going to play.
Let's see if it translates to a better game....
Our Team:
Annie Mid, Graves ADC, Morgana Support, Jarvan IV Top, Fiora Jungle
Their Team:
Jinx ADC, Ziggs Mid, Janna Support, Nocturne Jungle, Darius Top
I went Jarvan IV top. Fiora and I were last to pick on our team and she asked me to swap if they counter picked her in champ select for top. They "did" apparently with Darius, so we swapped and I ended up on top...so to speak.
I forgot to take teleport though, so I'm a little upset about that. At least I switched my runes / masteries and my smite for ignite.
Our team rolled them. Hard. Znnie went 10/3/5 just stomping them. Ziggs died 8 times, Jinx 7, Darius 6. Darius and I each only picked up 2 kill in the top lane, until Annie came up and helped me gank him for a second. He pretty much drove me out of lane hard but I held back, didn't feed and waited for my opportunity.

I pick first...
Being just placed in Bronze V having no points, this worries me that I'm at the top of my group. Especially when someone says they "main ADC" and have "50 games played with Vayne this season". I hope a few of those were wins..

Wow did our Vayne carry. She scored 28 of our team's 53 kills. I guess he wasn't lying about being good with Vayne.

Final Placement Match for the season...
I was first Pick and the enemy team banned Braum. Which I'd never seen before...
Fortunately no one on my team had a strong preference for Jungle or Support, so I thought I'd Support Zyra but couldn't find my Rune / Mastery for AP Support (found after champ select of course) so I went JIV Jungle.
Our Team:

I did my best but couldn't keep up with the needs. We had 0 control over the map bot lane and I couldn't seem to get any back. Quickly things crumbled.
It should be a mark of how bad things were that I had the highest CS on my team.

Last guy who picks wants to play Fizz Mid?
Subject says it all. Claims mid and wants them to not ban Fizz and for whoever goes first or second pick to pick Fizz and swap with him. I have a feeling he's not going to get Fizz and if he doesn't, he'll just feed... But maybe I'm just being overly critical.

Sona Support, Miss Fortune ADC, Nautilus Jungle, Fizz Mid, Jarvan IV Top
Their Team:
Lux Mid, Malphite Jungle, Garen Top, Quinn ADC, Leona Support
So he got Fizz..and he went Flash Heal? I guess I'll wait to see how it is before I judge it.
Not sure I've ever laned with JIV against Garen top, so we'll see hwo that goes too.
Well....I don't want to say that I under-estimated Garen. But perhaps I over-estimated my ability to soak damage. I need to be smarter....went 0/1 at the 8 minute mark.
On my way back, Nautilus ran into him in the Jungle and was leading him out. I met him and engaged. My pop-up didn't affect Garen, not sure why....I don't know his powers well enough maybe? Anyway, Maplhite and Lux came up so it was quickly 1v3. I dodged Lux but was low enough for Malphite to dive under my tower.
From there the game fell apart. Fizz was feeding Lux pretty hard. Bot lane was trading kills, mostly MF killing and Sona getting killed. I managed to take my tower first, around the same time bot lost theirs, but that was maybe the last "bright" spot. And I only took mine because I recgonized
Sona wasn't that great. I watched her dive a bush face first after watching Fizz die in it...she thought she could kill Malphite 1v1 with her Ult. And at most she had a single ward on the map at any time. Usually less.
Game ended at 37 minutes with our Nexus being destroyed.

JIV please report to the top lane, JIV to the top lane

Brand Mid, Draven ADC, Volibear Top, Nocturne Jungle, Lux Support
Is it normal for Kog'Maw mid to go Smite?
Clearly it's not *good*. Kog'Maw was terrible, constantly dieing in places he had no business being. He went 2/11/1. Sona didn't do much better at 1/10/1.
Really my score was awful to, 0/5/3.... The whole game was just bad.

Return of the Jarvan!

Ezreal ADC, Udyr Jungle, Lulu Support, Kennen Mid, Darius Top
So I haven't played Jarvan top in a long time. Not even sure what I should buy. Tanky DPS I guess...
Let's see how it goes....got Frisco in the jungle with the dragon, so feeling good about that.
Well I bought the wrong starting items. Sword and a ward. Whoops.
That went awful. Caitlyn was AFK until right before the game start when the player came back "with a burrito". Then he played awful because he was eating and then went to make another.
He and Lux fought in chat all game. Cait blamed everyone else for everything all game. It was awful.
I got demoted for that loss.
2/8/8 in a 30 minute surrender.
